Critically discuss methods of project evaluation and of scheduling resources. Answer: Introduction This paper discussed the Apple Inc. The purpose is to evaluate the Apple Inc product design in the competitive market. This paper successfully spelled out the importance process of Apple product design, an objective of the product process design, Apple product or service, stage of apple design and impact of performance objectives on the product design. Indeed, Apple is the organization that develops, designs and sells computer software and consumer electronics. It was founded in 1976 by the Steve Jobs. Apple is the largest revenue organizations in the term of technology. Apple was Americas first company that valued over 700 billion. It is placed in Cupertino, California. It operates the iTunes store and online store. Apple annual profit around 233 billion us dollar in the world level that is showing the strength and success of it. Moreover, Its software includes the Safari web browser, the iTunes media player, the iWork, the iLife, the OS X and productivity suites. It hardware produc ts include iPhone, the Apple Watch smartwatch, the Mac personal computer, the iPad tablet computer and the smartphone. (Farmer Tildes 2007) The introduction of Apple product or service: It creates a variety of products such as iPod, iPad, Apple watch, Mac, Apple TV, software and electric vehicles. iPod: The iPod music player is the one of the finest production of the iPod. Apple did the partnership with Nike to provide the Nike+iPod kit. It sold around 350 million shipped units in the year of 2012. iPod is the new invention of the Apple Inc. It produces a large scale iPod product in the industry. It reduced the cost of technology products. (Jaipuria Zhang 2011) iPad: It started iPad in the market to run modified of Ios. It includes a mobile version of Sahari for the web browsing, notes, app store, iBookstore, and contacts. It provides touch interaction multimedia that includes photos, video games, electronic books, word processing and newspaper. It launched iPad 2 in 2011 with from camera and quick processor. In 2012, the fourth-generation iPad came in the market with A6X processor. (Slack, Chambers Johnston 2007) Apple watch: It was developed by Cook in 2014 and released in April 2015. It involves fitness-tracking and must be associated iPhone to work. They produce watch in the market to attract a new buyer of the watch. They focused on the young generation people. (Jaipuria Zhang 2011) Mac: Apple produces a variety of accessories such as Magic Trackpad, battery charger, time capsule, the airport wireless, wireless keyboard and magic mouse. Mac launched such items as Mac mini, iMac, Mac Pro and Macbook air in the different year to fulfill the customer desire. Apple TV: Apple launched Apple TV in 2007 by Steve Jobs that has several features such as streams content from an additional four, Wi-Fi or wired network and syncs. It was launched 40 GB data capacity TV in 2009. It was launched with new design Apple TV. Apple TV was popularized in the technology market due to their extra features. (O'Grady 2009) Electric vehicles: Apple wishes to launch producing an electric car with autonomous driving features till 2020. Apple Inc recruited battery experts and other workers from Panasonic, Telsa Motor, Samsung, LG Chem, Toshiba, and A124 system. Software: The software is an important product in the technology era. It raises the sales volume of the Apple Inc. The software provides the easy way to work on technology products. Apple provides an operating system to run OS X and Macs that is the variety of product or services. Apple provides online service with iCloud and provides the wide range of data with photo, documents, contacts and calendars. It provides storage area network, remote system management, and apple remote desktop. (Jaipuria Zhang 2011) Significant of the Apple product or service: Process design is an instrument that closer to the unit operations. It creates a different variety of product that require the correct design process that can fulfill the customer desires or needs. Apple process design is creating places and building that work well for every person. The significant of the Apple process design is to plan-principle, plan-makers that seek to secure high quality design. The Apple design process significance in a practical and creative way to both the function and find a place. The design process helps to deliver a wide range of planning goals, raise the Apple product quality and evaluate the requirement for different uses. Apple design process puts community, economic, energy, water, infrastructure, and drainage. Apple managers can produce the design that fit with all kinds of products that is healthy for the company growth and success. New process design is a demand of the market due to the different variety of people in the market. Apple Inc launched t echnology product in the market that requires new process design to fulfill customer needs. The safety feature of the Apple product raises the sales volume and profitability of it. It helps to raise the sales and profitability of the Apple Inc. Production is key to the business success that helps to increase the Apple growth. Information technology wants different kinds of products that are possible through the unique plan for manufacturing of the Apple. So, the organization should adopt which kinds of development that related pollution digested by the human society that is known as sustainable development. Apple is one of the largest information technology product producer in the United States market that require sustainability in the product sells. Apple Inc must evaluate the consumer needs or demand before launching any product in the market. Without evaluation of the product in the market is risky for the organization sustainability. Speed, cost, quality, dependability, and flexibility are the performance objective that affects on design of the Apple Inc product or service that are depicted below: Speed: Apple Inc requires the high speed in their products features because they produce technology related product or services. Apple produces different kinds of iPod to attract the new people. iPod wants high-speed features to compete in the market to attract the new buyer of it. Apple produces a different kind of products to reduce the cost because different cost has different features that fulfill the customer needs. Apple Inc is a well known brand in the America that produce the quality of the product in technology sectors. A high quality of the product attracts the customer to buy the Apple Inc product. Dependability: Apple Inc is a well brand in the American market that attracts people. It branded product depend on consumer buying interest. It is significant affects the performance objective of the Apple Inc. (O'Grady 2009) Flexibility: It is a significant performance objective that attracts the people to buy Apple Inc product or service. Apple Inc has many manufacturing units that produce a flexible variety of product to fulfill consumer needs or demands. It is necessary because it helps to create product as per process design. Conclusion From the above analysis, concluded that clear objectives of product process design, stage of the product, affects of performance objective and significant of product process design as well as high ability to adopt new technology in the Apple Inc helps to survive in the competitive market. However, Apple produces a variety of the product to the fulfill the requirement of the different kinds of people. Apple Inc is the fast growing organization due to variety of the information technology products such as iPod, iPad, software, Apple TV, Apple Watch, iPhone, and Mac.
